Niki is a half-Scottish, half-Thai artist and landscape architect based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I’ve always been interested in the relationship between people and place and this follows into my art practice, which is underpinned by a curiosity in how places are experienced and represented. I am sensitive to emotional and physical states of being and change and I work intuitively, observing and responding to moods and places.

I am drawn to the use of mixed media and enjoy exploring how materials relate to one another and to the ideas I am exploring in my work.

Niki (b. 1988) studied geography at St. Andrews University, graduating in 2010 with an MA (Hons) degree before completing a Masters in Landscape Architecture (MLA) at Edinburgh College of Art in 2013 and becoming a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) in 2015. She currently works part-time as a chartered landscape architect.

She has recently completed two years studying on the 3-day Painting Course at Leith School of Art, where she was awarded the LSA Painting Prize, sponsored by Cass Art.

This website focuses on her art practice.
